Biographical Note BIO/2805 14 September 1993 NEW PERMANENT REPRESENTATIVE OF THE FORMER YUGOSLAV REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA PRESENTS CREDENTIALS Denko Maleski, the new Permanent Representative of The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, this afternoon presented his credentials to Secretary-General Boutros Boutros-Ghali. Mr. Maleski served as Minister for Foreign Relations of his country from 1991 to 1993. Immediately prior to his current appointment, he was a professor of contemporary political systems and international relations at the Law School of Kiril and Metodij University in Skopje, where he taught since 1970. In 1990, as a Fulbright scholar, Mr. Maleski taught political science at Ohio State University. Mr. Maleski received a doctorate in international relations from the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, in 1981, and a master's from the Law School of Kiril and Metodij University in 1977. Born in Skopje on 14 November 1946, Mr. Maleski is married and has three children. * *** * .
