The representative of the Republic of Macedonia Darko Naseski
finished 36th (out of a total of 44 participants) in the qualifying round
in Men's 10m air rifle competition with a result of 580 points.
Only the best eight qualify for the final. The competitor at the
top after the qualifiers was Wolfram Waibel Jnr (Austria) with
596 points. The last one to qualify was Milan Bakes (Czech Republic)
with 591 points.
Aleksandar Malenko representing the Republic in Men's 400 metres individual medley
in swimming finished 7th in Heat 3 in the preliminaries with a time of
4:34.06. Only the fastest eight from the four heats qualify for the
finals.
