Kire Filipovski first in his heat in the preliminaries

Kire Filipovski finished first in the first round, heat 1 of Men's 100 meter butterfly. This seems to be the best result of a representative of the Republic of Macedonia at this Olympics. On July 23 Natasha Meshovska was 5th in her heat in the preliminaries in Women's 100 meters butterfly.
